Tutor a student in Grades 9-12 in your favorite subject at the CSV Tutoring Center. Located in the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS), the CSV Tutoring Center is open M-F, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Volunteers meet with their students once or twice a week, either before, during, or after school for one hour. Approximately 40% of the students who are served through the Tutoring Center speak a language other than English as their first language. CSV can place you at the high school level to tutor in any academic subject, or in English as a Second Language. Volunteer tutors in math and science subjects are particularly needed. Volunteers must attend an orientation session before they begin. There are also ongoing training sessions throughout the academic year. This opportunity is sponsored by: Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV)
