 Volunteers are needed to provide childcare while parents are on-site for educational sessions. There are two large and well-equipped rooms where the children are exposed to many learning opportunities. Through warm caring relationships children learn to trust others, to grow and develop new skills including verbal, literacy, math and social skills that are critical to success in school. Come and fall in love with the beautiful children of Family Life! Volunteers complete an application form, have an agency tour including a discussion with staff about specific volunteer opportunities and if there is a match volunteers submit a police background check. Take 84 West to Sisson Ave Exit. At the light take a left onto Sisson Avenue. Go through 2 sets of lights (the second light will be at Park St.- go through that light an Sisson Avenue will change to New Park Avenue). At the next light, take a right onto Grace St. Family Life Education is at 39 Grace, 1st floor. Park on street or back right hand side.
From 84 East:
Take the Prospect St. exit #44. At the light turn left onto Prospect St. Take a right at next light to Kane St. Next light, left onto New Park Ave. Second Light Left onto New Park Ave. Left at firsdt light onto Grace Street. Family Life is at 39 Grace, 1st floor. Park on street or back right side of building.
