The American Lung Association of Massachusetts is looking for potential candidates to sit on our special events committee. The committees are: 1. 2009 Walk Committee - This committee will meet once a month starting in September until May of 2009. Members discuss recruitment of potential walkers and sponsors of the event. Members also assist with the set up the day of the event. Members are encouraged to form their own walk team to show support for the organization. 2. 2009 Breath of Spring Ball Committee - This committee will meet once a month starting in August until April of 2009. This committee is heavily involved in the sale of tickets and sponsorships to the event. The committee also assists with the solicitation of auction items. Other important responsibilities include the design and logistics of the event location. The requirements are the ability to handle sales management and program management.
