There are many programs that will allow the opportunity for individuals to use their skills and get involved. Power Hour is the time our youth focus on completing homework and studying. SMART Moves is a mentoring program that gives members an understanding of the negative effects of drugs. This program also focuses on peer relationships both positive and negative influences, and the importance of abstinence until marriage. These are just a couple examples of the programs being offered to members. Our club offers the opportunity to volunteer in the following areas: tutoring, mentoring, games room, art, reading, computer lab, drama, photography, and gym. Volunteers must complete an application form available at the agency, as well as a short orientation and training. A background check will be performed, and there is a sign-in procedure at the front desk. This opportunity is sponsored by: Boys And Girls Club Of Gordon, Murray, And Whitfield Co.
