Readings for the Blind is very much in need of an IT/Computer Professional willing to volunteer expert knowledge and skills for an hour or two every other week. Located in Southfield, our office is open Monday through Wednesday from 9am until 3pm.

We have a peer-to-peer network which could use some IT love-&-attention. The right person will have experience with creating/working networks, internet connection, websites, and databases on Dell computers.

Without our computers up-and-running efficiently we cannot service the many individuals throughout the United States who depend on us.....won't you please consider donating your time and expertise to helping those who cannot see?

Must be available to volunteer sometime during our regular business hours of Monday through Wednesday from 9am until 3pm. Due to the nature of maintaining an internal network we are ideally looking for someone who wants a long term volunteer position. Our Computer Expert must be capable of translating "computer speak" into plain English for all our non-techie volunteers!
