Become a Tax Volunteer and make a difference in the lives of low-income families! People like you served more than 8,300 people living in poverty in 2007. Join us and be one of 650-plus volunteers needed each year to help low-income families and individuals get the tax refunds and tax credits they deserve.
Wayne-Metropolitan Community Action Agency – Tax Certification classes are currently being offered every Saturday in October 2008 (must attend all four classes). They will be held at the Samaritan Center, Room 3-North at 5555 Conner Avenue in Detroit (South of I-94 exit near Warren Avenue) from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. To register for classes please call 313-743-2550 or email your interest to wcabc@waynemetro.org.
