Our scholars here at Boys Hope Girls Hope are struggling with their focus, time management, study skills etc. We all remember how hard it was in school to do our homework when our favorite show comes on, but these scholars also have each other as a distraction. It's a lot more fun of course to hang out and talk about boys or basketball! So we need your help! A retired or substitute teacher would be ideal, or even someone with aneducational background! We are hoping for a consistent individual who would come in twice a week for a few hours; Just to help out the scholars when needed.
Each Boys Hope Girls Hope child has been entrusted to our care by the parent/legal guardian. In consideration of this most important responsibility, it is essential and non-negotiable that each volunteer be screened according to specific guidelines including fingerprinting, child abuse and neglect screen, etc This opportunity is sponsored by: Boys Hope Girls Hope of Detroit
