Tu Nidito is a non-profit agency that cares for seriously ill and grieving children in our community. Our volunteers are the life-blood of this agency. We are accepting volunteer applications for our comprehensive training program that begins on January 17, 2009. Upon completion of training you will be eligible to provide one-on-one mentoring for children with serious illnesses and/or their sibling(s). Volunteers also have the opportunity to volunteer in our support groups serving children and their families whose lives have been impacted by serious illness or death. The training will provide you with skills related to working with children, teens and adults who are going through the most difficult times imaginable.
Volunteers must be 18 yrs or older and must attend a volunteer orientation (held monthly however private mini-orientations are available). Please contact our agency for further details. This opportunity is sponsored by: Tu Nidito
